[권윤애학생의 교환학생 영어일기] - 9월 1째주의 일기

9/3 (토)

Today, I went to play bowling with host mom and Josh. I haven't been to bowling alley before in Korea. The bowling alley was much more large than I thought. It was the first time I played bowling. But finally I won so I was really happy. When I go back to Korea, I will go bowling with my friends.

9/4 (일)

I went to the park near my house with my host family. The park was really large. I played with my children. Most of the children there came the park with family. I envied the children so much. After came home, we ate pizza for dinner. It was really delicious.

9/6 (화)

Today, I went to the school after 3 holidays. The first math class was not that much hard. In the English class, we wrote about some topic for 3 minutes and shared with partner. The next food science class, we answered 21 questions about myself. Fourth class was US history class, but it was really hard for me. Actually I don't like history.

So, it was really hard to learn US history in English. I can't understand what teacher is saying. Last class was the leadership class. We watched some video and answered some questions. After I finished my homework, I was making dinner with host mom and someone came to home. I don't know who she is correctly but maybe she works at same school with host mom. She gave me flowers and chocolate for present and said 안녕! in Korean. I was really happy with the present. After we finished our dinner, we drank coffee and tea at the backyard. It was a little cold but really fun.

9/7 (수)

Today, I went to play bowling. This was the second time I played bowling in U.S. When I arrived at the bowling place, there were host father's brother and sister. I played bowling with them. After about an hour, my host father's other brother and his girlfriend came to the bowling place. So, I was really fun. After the bowling is over, all of them came to my home and played together. I felt so good to know many peoples.




9/10 (금)

I'm so afraid of dogs! if a dog is small, I won't afraid of it. But if the dog is large, I really hate it. After I had finished my school and come back to home, I was doing my homework. Then I heard some weird sound so I went down the stairs to check it. There was a huge dog aside of my host mom. At first, I was so afraid and I couldn't get down the stairs anymore. But later it was going okay with him and now I don't afraid of him. But I still don't like big dogs.
